GENERAL SAFETY and GAMEPLAY RULES:
- Rule #1 – Don’t Be a Dick
At all times, players are responsible for their own safety, and the safety of others. Dangerous or risky behaviour is to be avoided and you may be asked to leave if you are not acting in a safe manner.
This includes (but is not limited to):- Climbing over obstacles
- Moving or impacting obstacles
- Over-shooting another player (ie mag dumping or using full auto while in close proximity to another player)
- Physical contact with other players
- Use of alcohol or illicit substances
- Physical or Verbal threats and intimidation
- Discriminatory comments on the basis of gender, race, age, sexuality or religion
- Rule #2 – Eye Protection
Eye protection is required at all times while in the designated play field. While inside the play field, players cannot remove their eye protection and should leave the Play Area if they need to clean them or for any other reason that would require their removal - Rule #3 – “HOLD” Rule
If at any time, for whatever reason, there is a potential for an injury to occur (such as a player’s eye protection falling off, someone acting in a dangerous manner, or a non-player entering the field), any player can call “HOLD” and raise their hands while repeating the “HOLD” call. All other players who hear the “HOLD” call must also stop, raise their hands and repeat the “HOLD” call. You must not move, reload or do anything else until instructed by an Admin. An Admin will then call “GAME ON” to resume the game. - Rule #4 – Blaster Safety
All blasters used in the games must comply with the following requirements to be allowed to be used:- Orange or other brightly coloured barrel tip (MANDATORY)
- At least 60% of the blaster to be brightly coloured
- Less than 30% of the blaster may be black (including accessories)
- (basically, nothing that looks too realistic so the cops don’t get called)
